On Board, Nomura!

The memories of the day of 3rd November 2011 will always be remembered in my book of events only because I was found to be employed that day :). It was the experience which was purely new to me.

The experience of getting hired for the first time to be true is priceless. All of a sudden I got this flashback of my life and how its worth became enough to be working for Asia's largest Investment Bank, Nomura :).

I have observed that once we achieve something that in our own eyes is actually "THE ACHIEVEMENT", we look up at someone and become grateful for this great life we have. To be honest, had I been rejected that day, I wouldn't have had this sense of joy. It would have perhaps been the "Just-another-rejection, oh well, never mind" attitude. 3rd Nov definitely taught me a lesson.

"Always be grateful to all you have AND are be excited for the thing that you are yet to accomplish"

Everyone learns from various experiences which transform us from being carefree into breviloquent souls and i'm no different. Nomura surely made me be cognizant of life by learning from different milestones.

Meeting deadlines for an Investment Bank isn't easy I'd say. It involves effort and hard work. Everyday is a learning for me at Nomura. I'm not from an IT background and yet I never felt the need to be from one while working simply because of all the guidance I receive at my beck and call. This just taught me that,

"If you're willing to learn, you will learn"

The greatest lesson to be realized is that life, at every step teaches you lessons, you've just got to put your foot forward and envision them and learn from them !
